Thinking about the future is important, we cannot spin our wheels and think of the future in terms of survival, but a future where we can thrive. A large section of Jewish thought is focused on a particular location: The Homeland. This focus on "thereness" is harmful and detracts from the right of all people to exist in dignity where they are: "Doikayt."
